Big/Little Sisters:
There is nothing like spending the holidays with family. This is just what the Big and Little Sisters did this holiday season. Presents were exchanged along with smiles and hugs. The little sisters have started to make their mark at the school. Many freshmen have gotten involved in school activities under the influences of their big sisters. Seniors, you’re almost done! Freshmen, you’re making a strong start!

Big Little Sisters
The Big and Little Sisters Club is a group that helps make it a little less scary to be a freshman. Seniors are paired with freshmen for organized activities and to introduce the freshmen to the unique and fun student life at St. Scholastica Academy. Freshmen are given the opportunity to meet some of the upperclasswomen and create bonds and friendships that really do last.

Recently the seniors and freshmen celebrated Halloween together at the class parties. There were costume contests, snacks, and lots of fun to be had. The costumes included Thing 1 and Thing 2 as well as a pirate, parrot, angels, and some characters from Alice in Wonderland. Seniors and freshman both brought in snacks for the event so that trail mix could be made.

Seniors and freshman are given the opportunity to talk, become friends and make lasting bonds.
